Welcome

Personal growth is a life-long endeavor. Many things happen that impact us along the way. As children, we are curious as we explore the environment around us. We interact with others. We try to make sense of our experiences and to develop our competencies. We develop a sense of who we are. Over time, we develop habitual patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that help us to cope with a very complex world.

As adults, we continue to navigate novel and challenging situations. We may thrive in some areas and have more difficulty in others. Sometimes we may feel stuck or confused about the path we are on. Sometimes we find that our old solutions to problems are no longer working. Everyone has moments when they feel like they are struggling. These moments in life are inevitable, and they can be powerful opportunities for learning and growth!

Psychology has much to offer those who are interested in personal growth.
